The Elmvac 2BV series liquid ring vacuum pump is suitable for removing gas and water vapor, with a suction pressure reaching 33 mbarA (97% vacuum degree). When the vacuum pump operates for a long time under suction pressure lower than 80 mbarA, a cavitation protection pipe should be connected to protect the pump. With an atmospheric ejector, the suction pressure can reach 10 mbarA, and the ejector can be installed directly on the vacuum pump.
The Elmvac 2BV series consists of the 2BV2 series and the 2BV5 series. Both the 2BV2 and 2BV5 series feature a motor-pump coaxial design, which saves a lot of space (protection class up to IP54).
